It started in early nineties as Dr. M Mahamood (Former Professor and HOD, Govt Medical College Calicut) as branch president and Dr.P Sreekumaran (Former Associate Professor, Govt Medical College, Calicut) as branch secretary. Kozhikkode IAP is actively involved in social and academic activities related to child health.
